Properties of magnetopolaron in asymmetry quantum well

摘要: 采用Pekar变分法和幺正变换相结合的方法研究了磁场对非对称量子阱中极化子性质的影响,理论推导得到了磁极化子基态能的表达式,讨论了磁极化子基态能与波矢、阱宽、磁场回旋共振频率的关系。由于晶体结构反演非对称性及磁场的作用,极化子能量发生了Rashba自旋-轨道分裂和Zeeman分裂。在强弱磁场下,分别讨论了Rashba效应和 Zeeman效应在分裂中所占的主导位置。由于声子的存在,极化子比裸电子能量分裂更稳定。

Abstract: The properties of the magnetopolaron in an asymmetry quantum well is studied within Pekar variation method and unitary transformation method. The magnetopolaron ground state energy is obtained by theoretical derivation. The relations between the ground state energy of the magnetopolaron and the well width , the wave vector and the magnetic field cyclotron resonance frequency are further discussed by us. Due to the crystal structural inversion asymmetry and the magnetic field, the polaron energy occurs Rashba spin-orbit splitting and Zeeman splitting. Under the strong and weak magnetic fields, we discussed the dominant position of Rashba effect and Zeeman effect, respectively. Due to the presence of phonons, the polaron is more stable than the bare electron state, and the energy splitting is more stable.
