可控异常空心光束在梯度折射率介质中的传输

Propagation of controllable anomalous hollow beams in gradient refractive index medium

摘要: 基于柯林斯衍射积分方法, 本文研究了可控异常空心光束在梯度折射率介质中的传输特性。推导了可控异 常空心光束在梯度折射率介质中任意位置处的传输表达式, 计算了光束宽度以及轴上光强; 进而通过数值模拟分析 了梯度折射率分布系数以及光束调制参数对光束传输特性的影响。研究结果表明: 通过控制调制参数, 可控异常空 心光束在演化过程中会呈现多种不同的形态; 光束在传输过程中, 随着距离的增加, 传输轨迹、光束宽度以及轴上光 强分布均呈现周期性变化, 周期大小由梯度折射率分布系数决定; 光束波长越长, 可控异常空心光束受到径向梯度折 射率介质的聚焦作用越明显。

Abstract: Based on Collins diffraction integral method, the propagation characteristics of controllable anomalous hollow beams in gradient refractive index medium are studied. The propagation expression of controllable anomalous hollow beams at any position in the gradient refractive index medium is derived, and the beam width and on-axis light intensity are calculated. Furthermore, the influence of gradient refractive index distribution coefficient and beam modulation parameters on beam transmission characteristics is analyzed through numerical simulation. The results show that by controlling the modulation parameters, the controllable anomalous hollow beam can exhibit a variety of different morphologies during evolution process, and during the propagation process of beam, with the increase of propagation distance, the propagation trajectory, beam width and on-axis light intensity distribution show periodic changes, with the period size determined by the gradient refractive index distribution coefficient. In addition, it is also shown that the larger the beam wavelength, the more obvious the focusing effect of the radially gradient refractive index medium on the controllable anomalous hollow beam.
