Investigation of Sagnac full optical fiber current sensor

摘要: 为了实现输电线路上的电流的监测,开发出了一种全光纤电流传感器(FOCS)。该传感器基于法拉第效应和Sagnac效应这两种原理,可以准确测量出电流的大小。创新性的利用锯齿形波进行信号调制,并且对电流在40A到140A的范围内进行测量,实验数据与实际电流基本相符。

Abstract: A full optical fiber current sensor (FOCS) is developed in order to monitor the current on the transmission line, which is based on Faraday effect and magnetostrictive principle. This FOCS can measure the current accurately. By the use of zigzag modulation signal which is of innovate, the current in the range of 40 A to 140 A is measured. The experimental data meets the actual current accurately.
