基于小孔-Tamm复合结构的荧光增强与定向辐射

Fluorescence enhancement and directional radiation based on hybrid aperture-Tamm structure

摘要: 通过转移矩阵的方法分析了Tamm结构中的光场分布与共振模式,提出了小孔-Tamm复合结构来实现荧光的增强与定向辐射,利用时域有限差分法(FDTD)模拟了偶极子与该结构相互作用的耦合辐射场,证明了该结构能够实现荧光的垂直出射,并且与传统的Tamm结构相比荧光强度有三个数量级的提高。系统地分析比较了荧光发射波长、偶极子的位置以及小孔尺寸对荧光辐射角度和强度的影响。计算模拟结果对具有荧光增强定向辐射功能的光学芯片设计具有指导作用。

Abstract: Electromagnetic field distribution and resonance modes in Tamm structure were analyzed with transfer matrix, a hybrid aperture-Tamm structure was proposed to enhance the fluorescence signal and control the emission direction. Far field emission of dipole source interacted with hybrid aperture-Tamm structure was simulated by finite-different time-domain (FDTD) method. This structure could enhance the fluorescence intensity by three orders of magnitude compared with conventional Tamm structure. Influence of emission wavelength, position of dipole source, the size and shape of aperture were studied. The results contribute to the designing of optical devices in fluorescence enhancement and direction emission.
