基于修正相干态光源的MDI-QKD全局估计性能分析

Performance analysis of MDI-QKD based on MCS source using global estimation

摘要: 为了提高测量设备无关量子密钥分发(MDI-QKD)系统的整体性能,利用修正相干态光源(MCS)可以优化光子数分布率的性质,设计了一种基于修正相干态光源的MDI-QKD系统,并根据全局估计的计算方法推导了密钥生成率与传输距离的关系,保证了在密性放大阶段单光子信息的充分利用,得到较为紧凑的密钥率下限值,通过仿真分析将所提出的系统与基于预报单光子源(HSPS)的MDI-QKD系统性能进行对比,结果表明MCS光源比HSPS光源的传输距离提高了9%,有效改善了系统性能。而全局估计方法对推导更为精确的密钥率有理论指导意义。

Abstract: To improve the system performance of Measurement-Device-Independent Quantum Key Distribution (MDI-QKD), a MDI-QKD system based on Modified Coherent Source (MCS) was proposed which can optimize the photon number distribution. Then the global estimation method was introduced to simulate the relationship between key generation rate and total transmission distance which guarantees the full utilization of photon information. Comparing to the result of Heralded Single Photon Source (HSPS) scenario, the transmission loss limit is enhanced by 9%, which shows the method can improve the system performance efficiently and is helpful in deriving more accurate key rate.
