Abstract:

The cavity and application of a kind of passive piosecond colliding pulse mode-locked laser are reported. The better results are obtained by adopting the laser to calibrate the nonlinearity and triggering jitter of piosecond streak camera. Meanwhile, the width of laser pulse detected by streak camera is more precise than oscillograph. As a result FWHM of 10 ps of the laser pulse can be achieved easily, which is 3~5 narrower than the general reflex passive colliding pulse mode-locked laser.
