Time Delay dependence of photoelectron spectroscopy and state populations of nonadiabatic coupling molecules

摘要: 利用三态模型和含时波包法,研究了非绝热耦合NaI分子在强飞秒泵浦-探测激光场中延时对光电子能谱的影响,并首次研究了延时对各态布居的影响.研究表明波包在势能面上做周期性运动,运动周期大约为1000 fs. 延时为200 fs时,波包第一次到达交叉区域分裂成两部分,800 fs时波包再次返回交叉区域发生分裂.波包的周期性运动导致了光电子能谱谱峰位置的周期性变化.波包在交叉区域的分裂情况影响各态布居分布.研究表明调节泵浦-探测延时可实现对波包运动的控制及态布居的选择性分布.研究结果可以为在实验上实现分子的光控制以及量子操控过程提供一定的参考.

Abstract: The effect of the delay time on the photoelectron spectra and state populations of nonadiabatic coupling NaI molecules was investigated by pump-probe pulses via time-dependent wave packet approach. Wave packet moves periodically with roundtrip time 1000 fs. The wave packet splits into two parts in the crossing region firstly and secondly at delay time 200 fs and 800 fs, respectively. The periodical motion of the wave packet results in the periodical variation of photoelectron spectra. The wave packet splitting affects state populations. It is found that the wave packet motion and selective distribution of state populations can be achieved by adjusting pump-probe delay time. The results can provide some important basis for realizing the optical control of molecules experimentally.
