Evolution of quantum state in the mesoscopic LC circuit driven by a time dependent source

Abstract:

The exact solution of time evolution is obtained by applying the Wei-Norman method. The wigner function is used to investigated the quantum state of the mesoscopic LC circuit .The result showed that the wigner function of the system is the motional gauss wave- packet of two dimension. We also study the effect of quantum state on the circuit which is driven by sine and pulse signal. There are no effects on system when the frequency is off resonance. The transition between high energy level and low energy level happened and the probability of high energy level increased when the frequency is on resonance. The special example in which the circuit is driven by single rectangle pulse is investigated.
