Influence of the third-order nonlinear on the propagation properties of the soliton-like pulse in the optical fibers

Abstract:

The MNLS equation and variational method are used to derive the densely equation of Lagrange and evolution equations for the parameters of the soliton-like pulse and their analytic solutions. The influence of the third-order nonlinear on the propagation properties of the soliton-like pulses in optical fibers is discussed .
