Abstract:

A  new kind of two-photon holographic screening-photovoltaic solitons is proposed in biased photovoltaic-photorefractive materials based on two-wave mixing. The analytical solutions of bright (dark) solitons are obtained when the intensity of signal beams is smaller than that of pump beams. The dynamical evolutions of such solitons are simulated numerically under steady-state conditions. The result shows that the steady-state bright (dark) two-photon holographic screening-photovoltaic spatial solitons are possible in the crystal given some parameters.
