Abstract: A Linnik type full-field optical coherence tomography (FF-OCT) system was developed for tomographic imaging of biological cells. Different from other imaging methods used in FF-OCT systems, an image restoration method based on Hilbert transform required only two interference images was implemented which allowed the inaccurate phase-shift in experiments. The axial and lateral resolution of this system was 1.1 μm and 2.5 μm, respectively. Using this system, we obtained tomographic images of onion epithelial cells, thus confirming the feasibility of the proposed scheme and providing the foundation for further development of high-resolution system for cell imaging.
