Desigh and application of high precision temperature control system

Abstract: In order to obtain a continuous tunable high-frequency microwave signals, firstly, a high precision Thermoelectric Cooler (TEC) temperature-controlled circuit is designed by using a microcontroller in this paper, a microcontroller of MSP430F149 is used in the controlled circuit, and a digital temperature sensor of TMP112 is used to collect temperature information, the temperature can be controlled by the TEC chip derived by the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal, and steady error is about 0.060C. Secondly, using the temperature controller to control the temperature of optical fiber, and by adjusting the temperature of the controller, the high-frequency microwave signal with 10.872-10.905GHz is obtained as temperature from 200C to 500C, the slope of signal frequency and temperature is about 1.1MHz/0C, the microwave signal with wider frequency range would be obtained if tuning range of the control system is increased.
