Abstract: A scheme for hybrid bidirectional controlled quantum communication of arbitrary two-qubit states is proposed by using a nine-qubit entangled state as the quantum channel. In this scheme, two distant parties, Alice and Bob are not only senders but also receivers, and Alice can teleport an unknown arbitrary two-qubit state to Bob, at the same time, Bob can also help Alice remotely prepare an arbitrary two-qubit state. This protocol shows that only when two senders and controller collaborate with each other, the quantum task can be completed successfully, and the total success probability of this protocol is 100%.

Key words: hybrid bidirectional controlled quantum communication, teleportation, remote state preparation, arbitrary two-qubit state
