星载测风激光雷达系统鉴频器性能模拟比较

Comparison of Simulated Performance of Filters in Space-borne Wind Lidar System

摘要: 模拟了基于355nm波长双边缘FP(Fabry-Perot)鉴频器和基于532nm波长碘分子鉴频器的星载测风激光雷达系统性能。进行的比较和分析主要包括激光出射光子数、大气后向散射强度、探测器、鉴频器及测风灵敏度等。给出了星载平台系统接收后向散射信号的信噪比和测风误差,以评估两种激光雷达系统的性能。结果表明,在距地面0-5km高度范围,532nm碘分子鉴频器系统测风误差低于355nm 双边缘FP系统,而对于距地面5km以上大气范围,FP系统风速误差比碘分子鉴频器系统低25%。

Abstract: Simulated performance of space-borne wind lidar between 355nm and 532nm based on double-edge Fabry-Perot and Iodine Filter respectively were compared. The comparison and analysis included emitted photon number, atmospheric backscattering, detector, filters and wind measurement sensitivity. Then, SNR (Signal-to-Noise Ratio) and wind measurement error, as main indicator, were calculated to assess the lidar systems’ performance. The results showed that when altitude ranges from 0 to 5km, the wind measurement error of Iodine Filter system at 532nm is lower than that of double-edge Fabry-Perot interferometer system at 355nm, while for higher altitude, measurement error of double-edge Fabry-Perot system is 25% lower than Iodine filter system.
