基于各向异性核函数的自适应带宽均值漂移目标跟踪算法研究

The Study of Target Tracking Algorithm Based on Mean Shift with Adaptive Bandwidth of Anisotropic Kernel Function

摘要: 针对传统的均值漂移算法利用固定核窗宽或对称核函数进行目标跟踪时出现目标跟踪丢失或跟踪失败的问题,提出了基于各向异性核函数的自适应带宽均值漂移目标跟踪算法,以提高目标跟踪的准确性和实时性。首先在符号距离核函数的基础上引入符号距离约束函数,构成各向异性核函数,满足目标外部的区域函数值为零,为目标跟踪提供准确的跟踪窗。其次,依据基于各向异性核函数的均值漂移应用到目标跟踪中需满足跟踪窗内的样本点到中心点的向量权重之和为0的思想,计算各向异性核函数模板的均值漂移窗口中心。然后,利用相似度阈值对前后两帧目标模板的变化情况进行限制,实现各向异性核函数模板的自适应更新,从而实现目标的准确实时跟踪;最后通过比对试验证明本文算法的准确性和实时性较高。

Abstract: The traditional mean shift algorithm using fixed kernels or symmetric kernel function, which have problems of target tracking lost or failure when target tracking. In order to improve the accuracy and real-time of target tracking, A target tracking algorithm is proposed based on mean shift with adaptive bandwidth of anisotropic kernel function. Firstly, this algorithm introduced the signed distance constraint function to produce the anisotropic kernel function based on signed distance kernel function. This anisotropic kernel function to meet the function value is zero in external target, and provided accurate tracking window for target moving. Secondly, The mean shift based on anisotropic kernel function is applied to target tracking to meet the sum of weight is zero of the sample points to the center point vectors in the tracking window, and calculated the mean shift window center of anisotropic kernel function template. Thirdly, anisotropic kernel function templates adaptive update implementation by similarity threshold to limit the change of the template between two sequential pictures, so as to realize real-time precise tracking. Finally, the contrast experimental results show that our algorithm has good accuracy and high real time.
