Abstract: A design method of using the DSP chip TMS320F28335 as controller and using the linear motor motion platform to drive the moving mirror was put forward during the development of the high precision linear scanning Fourier Transform Infrared(FTIR) spectrometer system. The method would achieve the high quality and resolution of the spectrogram. The advantages and the principle of FTIR and the features of TMS320F28335 were introduced. Meanwhile, the design scheme of the motor control system was expounded and the implementation method of the hardware interface circuit and software among DSP, motor, and motor driver was provided. The experiments show that the motor control system has fine stability and high precision of movement. The movement precision can be up to 0.1μm, guaranteeing the stable and reliable linear motion of the moving mirror.
