Abstract:

Spectroscopy Technology and spectral imaging technology have very broad application prospects in the biomedical field because of their obtainment of target's chemical composition information. Latest development of seven applications of spectra and spectral imaging technology in biomedical field were introduced. Among them, applications of fluorescent multi-label colocalization, spectral karyotying and ocular pathology diagnosis are matured and have been used clinically. Although with clinical significance, applications of spectral imaging cancer detection, bio-chip testing, nondestructive glucose and Raman cancer detection are still in the early stages of development. Because above applications have lower accuracy of detection or poorer universality, and they still need further research.
